Flue Damper
Flue damper handles can get a bit hot so are made with thick spring handles to help dissipate the heat.
Primary Air Control
The primary air control is opened by sliding out a steel plate to allow air to enter the firebox, and is closed by pushing the plate in. There’s a pin under the plate to prevent the plate from coming out.

Flue Collars
Flue collars are always welded on from the bottom side for a cleaner look. All measurements given for flue collars are inside dimensions.
For example, a stove that takes 4” stovepipe, will have a 4” inside dimension flue collar.
Flue dampers help to keep heat inside the firebox while still allowing smoke to escape. They also help with slowing down draft which provides longer burn times.
Handles
Handles are all hardwood, usually Walnut but always specified in the stove listing.
Couplers are welded onto the steel side of the handle so the wooden handle can be be bolted to the steel handle.
